Members
The VNT Association is a body of people who work as Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapists and are required to be either registered Physiotherapists or Occupational Therapists with a current practising certificate and drivers licence.
VNT’s work with children who have or who are at risk of developmental difficulties, alongside their whanau/family.
in the community either at home or in the child’s educational setting in collaboration with others who are a part of the child’s world. It is advisable the Therapist should have two years postgraduate experience, including paediatrics.
Membership
You may request either Full or Associate Membership of the VNT Association.
Full membership: is open to New Zealand registered Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who are practicing as a VNT.
Associate membership: is open to New Zealand registered Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists or Speech Language Therapists working in paediatrics with a developmental focus.
Once accepted, membership for either of the above groups will be ratified on receipt of the appropriate membership fee.
